1. Sandals St. Lucia Golf & Country Club at Cap Estate (18-hole course)

The Sandals St. Lucia Golf & Country Club boasts an 18-hole golf course that is one of the most popular on the island. This golf course is located in Cap Estate, a scenic and serene area in the north of Saint Lucia. A par 71 championship course, the Sandals St. Lucia Golf & Country Club course was redesigned in collaboration with Australian golf legend Greg Norman and was reopened in 2021.

This picturesque golf course is well maintained and reasonably challenging. It spans 7,000+ yards and allows players to experience the most stunning views and exciting elevation changes. One of the perks of this location is that there is a golf clubhouse on-site with a restaurant, pub, pro shop, and locker rooms. As a guest of any of the Sandals all-inclusive resorts in Saint Lucia, you will have full access to this golf course and the clubhouse during your stay. Plus, your green fees will be completely free! Non-Sandals guests can expect green fees of about $125 USD for 9 holes, and $175 USD for 18 holes.

There are a few other expenses to think about when golfing on this (and really any other) course. You should factor in the cost of golf carts, caddies, and shoe and club rentals (if you don’t bring your own). At the Sandals St. Lucia Golf & Country Club, golf carts cost around $20 USD for 9 holes and $30 USD for 18 holes. There’s also a driving range that is open seven days a week ($4 USD for 40 balls), and golf lessons are available via the golf pro shop for an additional cost.

Good to know: Aside from the driving range, the Sandals St. Lucia Golf & Country Club is closed on Mondays.

2. Sandals Regency La Toc (9-hole course)

The Sandals Regency La Toc golf course is a 9-hole course that is minutes away from Castries, Saint Lucia. From the northern areas of the island, specifically Gros Islet and Rodney Bay, it takes just about 30 minutes to get to this course located on the property of Sandals Regency La Toc. This golf course includes a driving range, putting green, and chipping green.

As you tee off on this tropical golf course, you won’t be able to keep from admiring the lush surrounding greenery and the rugged hillsides. The Sandals Regency La Toc golf course is about 3141 yards, and it is a par 33 executive-style course. Many describe this as a challenging golf course that is fun at the same time. The breathtaking views definitely take away some of the seriousness of the game, but you’ll certainly need extreme focus at some points for the sake of accuracy. Both beginners and more experienced golfers will love how engaging this golf course is and how pristine it is overall.

Sandals Resorts guests have full access to the Sandals Regency La Toc golf course during their stay. By staying at Sandals in Saint Lucia, you’ll also benefit from complimentary green fees (regular cost: $17 USD for 18 holes, and $10 USD for 9 holes), and free transportation between this course and Sandals St. Lucia Golf & Country Club. Free transportation is also provided between the Sandals Regency La Toc golf course and the various Sandals Resorts in Saint Lucia.

3. Coming Soon: Cabot Saint Lucia (18-hole course)

Cabot Saint Lucia is set to open a new golf course in Saint Lucia towards the end of 2022. This is expected to be an 18-hole course, and it will be located at Pointe Hardy in Gros Islet. Designed by renowned golf course architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, in collaboration with Cabot co-founder Ben Cowan-Dewar, this course will add to Saint Lucia’s offerings on the golf scene. Cabot’s course is a par 71 course that spans 6,575 yards.

Ahead of Cabot’s golf course being opened, small details have been announced. For example, golfers can expect the sort of stunning views that Saint Lucian golf courses are known for, as well as just the right dose of island challenge.
