Alfa Romeo’s first electric car, the Milano, will be available to order early on this summer.

Milano Elettrica combines a Hybrid Synchronous Motor and a new battery and is available in two power versions, 156 or 240 hp.

In the 156 hp version, the lithium-ion battery pack provides up to 250 miles of range in the WLTP cycle, or 366 miles in the urban cycle. A 100kW rapid charger can provide a 10-80% charge in less than 30 minutes.

The Milano Speciale Elettrica, the 156 hp launch edition, is equipped with a 11-kW three-phase onboard charger. Alfa Romeo also offers the 240 hp Elettrica Veloce powertrain, a sportier Milano.

With a load capacity of 400 litres, the Milano has the largest boot in its class for a full BEV. Exclusive features also include a cable storage compartment located under the bonnet.

To remove any driver anxiety relating to charging, the Milano features EV Routing which is an innovative connected system built into the navigator that manages the customer’s charging needs.

Customers can set up their destination and the navigation system will calculate any charging stops required along the route.
